RUSSELL, Barney - Putnam

Barney Russell, age 61, a life long resident of North Salem died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Gladys Crawford in Brownsburg last Friday. Funeral services were held at the New Maysville Baptist church where he was a member. Internment was in the New Maysville cemetery. The deceased was born southwest of North Salem, the son of Charnell Russell and of their eight children, he was the first in death. He was married to Nettie Morphew and to them were born eight children, three of who died in infancy. Four daughters and one son survive.
